Mason CHSS's public relations agency, Clyde Group, presented a Media 101 session on how to build and maintain your public persona. This includes learning how to navigate the media landscape, successfully engage with reporters, build your social media presence, and connect your research to current events. Through these methods, you will create your public persona, which is any sort of external representation of your expertise through thought leadership. This includes your presence on the news, on your own channels, in written work, and how your research connects to the public sphere.
