Using Social Media as a Faculty Member

Social media can be a great tool for faculty to network with peers, elevate their research, and build their public persona. It also presents a number of challenges related to privacy and professionalism. We talk briefly about some of George Mason University's policies and procedures regarding faculty use of social media, and provide some best practices and helpful tips for navigating the digital world as an employee of a public institution.
