The Marketing and Communications team is excited to introduce Marissa Joyce, our CHSS Social Media Manager. A recent Mason graduate, Marissa earned B.A.s in English and Communication. She previously served as Social Media Coordinator for the GMU Office of University Branding and Marketing and has interned with organizations like Fall for the Book.
Marissa brings a wealth of creativity and plenty of Mason pride to the team. In her role, she will be managing the main CHSS social media accounts, as well as providing continuing education and support for our departments in social media best practices and procedures. Marissa says, "I’m excited to be combining my love for social media and content creation with my love for the humanities. As a CHSS alum, the humanities have always been special to me and it's truly an honor to showcase and represent the humanities’ vital importance to academic spaces online." She's looking forward to the creative aspects of the job that allow her to be inventive and find new ways to get our audience excited about all the incredible things happening in the CHSS community!
